Effective date: 1 May 2025 · Last updated: 12 May 2025
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website at phinitez.info and your engagement of legal services provided by Phinit Estate. Please read them carefully. By using this website or contacting us to enquire about services, you accept these terms.
Questions about these terms may be sent to [email protected].
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the meanings set out below:
- "We", "Us", "Our" — Phinit Estate, a legal practice registered and operating in Bangkok, Thailand
- "You", "User" — any person accessing this website or engaging our services
- "Services" — estate and inheritance legal services, including will review, dispute counsel, and estate administration
- "Engagement" — a formal agreement to provide legal services, confirmed in writing
- "Website" — the site operated at phinitez.info
- "Content" — all text, documents, and materials on the Website
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this Website or submitting an enquiry, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over and have legal capacity to enter into agreements under Thai law.
If you are acting on behalf of another person or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and that these terms bind that person or organisation.
3. Services
Phinit Estate provides estate and inheritance legal services in Thailand, including:
- Will review and update (฿3,200 per engagement)
- Inheritance dispute counsel (from ฿6,300)
- Complex estate administration (from ฿7,600)
The Website provides information about these services. It does not itself constitute legal advice. Formal legal advice is provided only following an agreed engagement and after we have reviewed the relevant circumstances in full.
Our services are available to clients in Thailand and to clients located abroad whose matters relate to assets or persons in Thailand.
4. Engaging Our Services
An engagement is established when we confirm in writing that we are able to act on a matter and you confirm your acceptance of the scope and fee. No engagement is formed by a website enquiry, an initial telephone call, or an exploratory meeting alone.
We reserve the right to decline to act on any matter, including where doing so would raise a conflict of interest or where the matter falls outside our practice area.
5. Fees and Payment
Fees for each service are stated on our website and confirmed in writing at the start of each engagement. All fees are in Thai Baht (฿).
The stated fee covers the defined scope of the service. Where circumstances arise that require work beyond that scope, we will discuss this with you and agree any additional fee before proceeding.
Payment is due upon invoice. We accept bank transfer to our Bangkok account, details of which will be provided at the time of invoicing.
Where an engagement is withdrawn by the client after formal commencement of work, fees for work completed to that point are payable.
6. Client Responsibilities
To enable us to carry out our services effectively, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information relevant to the matter
- Notify us promptly of any changes in circumstances that may affect the matter
- Respond to requests for information or documents within a reasonable time
- Attend scheduled appointments at the agreed time, or notify us in advance if unable to do so
We are not liable for delays or outcomes affected by incomplete or inaccurate information provided by you.
7. Confidentiality
All information shared with us in connection with a matter is held in strict professional confidence. We will not disclose client information to third parties except where required by law, court order, or with the client's prior written consent, or where necessary for the conduct of the matter with the client's prior knowledge.
This obligation of confidentiality continues after the conclusion of an engagement.
8. Website Use
You may use this Website for personal and informational purposes only. You must not:
- Use the Website in a manner that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website or its systems

10. Disclaimers
The content of this Website is provided for general information only and does not constitute legal advice. Specific legal advice is provided only in the context of a formal engagement, after review of the relevant circumstances.
We do not warrant that the Website will be available at all times or that its content is free of error. We reserve the right to modify or withdraw any part of the Website without notice.
The outcome of any legal matter depends on the specific facts and circumstances involved. We make no representation about the outcome of any engagement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Thai law, our liability in connection with any engagement is limited to the fee paid for the relevant service.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or speculative losses arising from the use of this Website or the provision of our services, including loss of income, loss of anticipated savings, or reputational damage.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement by giving written notice. Where we terminate due to circumstances outside our control (such as a conflict of interest arising mid-engagement), we will provide reasonable notice and assist with transition arrangements where possible.
Fees for work completed to the date of termination remain payable. Clauses relating to confidentiality, intellectual property, and dispute resolution survive termination.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.
Before commencing formal proceedings, either party may request an informal discussion with a view to resolving the matter. We are committed to addressing any concerns raised by clients promptly and fairly.
14. General Provisions
Entire agreement: These Terms, together with any written engagement letter, constitute the entire agreement between the parties for the services described.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision at any time does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it in future.
